Communities Summit
The inaugural State of Mid-County Communities Summit is a people-first, community-led civic convening that will bring residents, community organizations, service providers, educators, faith communities, businesses, public agencies, and elected leaders into one room.
The purpose is to examine Mid-County on its own terms, identify shared priorities, and begin building stronger coordination and accountability across the region.
The Summit is built around named populations and the mechanisms driving their risk, not isolated statistics. A named population can send someone to testify; a statistic cannot.
Participants will hear community experiences, examine relevant data, identify how challenges intersect across systems, and help shape shared community, budget, and policy priorities.
All conversations will take place in one room so participants hear the same information and develop a shared understanding of the region.
